St. Thomas Council Names Rick Southwick as March 2021 Knight of the Month

March 11, 2021St. Thomas Council is proud to award Knight of the Month for March 2021 to Rick Southwick, who has been a Knight for three years.
In the short time he has been with the St. Thomas Council, he has made significant contributions including his work with the Leave No Neighbor Behind initiative, breaking down the call list and ensuring all brother knights are called at least once a year. Rick also took the initiative to send all brother knights Christmas cards this past year. As Deputy Grand Knight, he always supported the Grand Knight in many ways.
Rick has volunteered in the kitchen for the council sponsored Lenten Haddock Suppers. This year, he stepped up and took responsibility for the planning, organizing and directing the Take-Out Haddock dinners. The success of the March 5th Haddock dinner is a testament to Rick's leadership skills. He spent numerous hours researching pricing and sources to ensure a profitable event. The result was a net profit of $715.16 which far exceeded expectations.
