The St. Thomas Council Knights of Columbus named John Chandonnet as Knight of the Month for the month of July 2019.
John joined the Knights of Columbus in 2011 and quickly took his third and fourth degrees. John is an Honor Guard with the Knights, as well. As a Past Grand Knight, John is very active in the church serving as a Lectorer, Eucharistic Minister as well as baking for and organizing the hospitality gathering after the 9:00 am Sunday mass. John has also organized the St. Thomas School poster contest and supported the Waban Telethon refreshment booth.
On many occasions in which John volunteers, he usually drives to the event directly from his job in Manchester, NH.
Still working full time, John made the trip to Togus with several brother knights to honor disabled veterans.
As a Past Grand Knight, John has shared his experience and knowledge of the Knights of Columbus with incoming Grand Knights.
Kudos go out to John for his dedicated service to the Knights of Columbus!
