Grand Knight Terry Sylvanus joined the St. Thomas Council two years ago. He promptly took his second and third degree. From there he took his fourth degree to become a Sir Knight. He worked with Ray Sargent as District Warden and became our Deputy Grand Knight last year. He is now our Grand Knight. As Grand Knight he has taken on ambitious projects, such as the Bell Fund which financed the new church bells at Holy Family Church and bean suppers to finance improvements to the Parish Hall kitchen. He played a key role in instituting and coordinating the Family of the Month. You’ll always see him lending a hand at the Lenten Haddock Suppers, the Childrens’ Christmas Party, Church Recruiting Drives and Degree Exemplifications. As a result of his leadership and direction, the St. Thomas Council has become a very active and vibrant council – one of the top councils in the state of Maine!
