The St. Thomas Council, Knights of Columbus, has chosen the family of Bob and Lucille Demers to be recognized as Family of the Month for July 2023.

Bob and Lucille have been happily married for 54 years. They are proud parents of four daughters: Jennifer, Rebecca, Lauren and Karen. They are also proud grandparents of seven grand children.

Bob joined the St. Thomas Council in January of this year and took his first, second and third degree. On May 20th, Bob also took his fourth degree and became a Sir Knight.

Bob has been employed at St. Thomas School for the past several years as maintenance man. Whenever the council puts on a dinner, Bob will be on hand set up tables and chairs and work in the kitchen. He will be the first to arrive and the last to leave. This Summer, Bob has worked at the Goodall Park concession with the St. Thomas Council at Sanford Mainers home games.

Bob and his wife Lucille volunteer at the York County Shelter Food Pantry in Alfred, as well as the Matthew Meal in our parish.

The Knights of Columbus proudly presents the Family of the Month for July 2023, the Demers Family, a family united in living their faith together. We are blessed to have them in our parish!
