The St. Thomas Knights of Columbus hosted a benefit Bean Supper at the Parish Hall from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. About 60 persons attended and over $400 was raised. Proceeds to go toward the purchase of a new refrigerator for the kitchen at the Parish Hall.
15 St. Thomas Knights, along with 12 volunteers, prepared and served the Bean Supper which included: pea beans, kidney beans, spicy beans, hot dog franks, cole slaw, american chop suey, and bread. Many volunteers contributed many baked goods including brownies, pies and cakes. Coffee and lemonade were also available. It was an impressive supper!
