Five Knights, along with ten family members and Father Jack Dickinson spread Christmas cheer along Howard Street and at the Anchor Nursing Home in Springvale that Wednesday evening.
Everyone met at the home of David and Linda Murphy. The entourage then proceeded along Howard Street and stopped at various homes to sing a Christmas carol – on their way to the Anchor Nursing Home on Oak Street.
At the nursing home, the entourage sang various Christmas Carols to some of the residents in the Community Room. They were very grateful to hear both religious and secular Yuletide songs.
Afterward, the group adjourned to the Murphy house to socialize and enjoy hot apple cider, hot cocoa, pizza, finger food and snacks. A great time was had by all! It was a wonderful evening to rejoice with carols and proclaim that Jesus Christ is alive and reigns in the hearts of many!
