St. Thomas School (pre-kindergarten through eighth grade) in Sanford seeks a principal to serve as the school’s ministerial and educational leader. The principal’s primary responsibility is to envision and implement a rich academic program and lead our faculty, students, and parents in working together to realize the school’s full potential. The successful candidate will be committed to and knowledgeable in the use and implementation of technology; a leader of the faculty in meeting the educational needs of students and analyzing schoolwide outcomes; the conductor of staff observation and performance evaluations; and the coordinator of professional development opportunities that foster continuous improvement in the delivery of the academic program. The principal also develops and oversees the implementation of an annual budget that reflects the school's priorities and ensures the safety of students and the school’s community.
