ON HOLD DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC...WE CAN'T WAIT TO BE BACK!
Coffee and Fellowship Doing a Brisk Business!
Sunday Coffee and Fellowship following the 9:00am Mass at Holy Family Church has been brisk since being moved outside in late June. “We typically go through three pots of coffee, a gallon of juice, and all the baked goods we put out there,” says John Chandonnet.
Zucchini bread continues to be a big hit. People eat it by the slice or buy it by the loaf. It always goes quickly! Recently, chocolate bundt cake and chocolate pound cake have also been a big hit as well – especially when our friend Corinne is around with her insatiable appetite for chocolate. Yet she never gains an ounce. Must be all that bicycle riding!
Coffee and Fellowship will continue to be held outside in front of the church (North Avenue side) perhaps until early September. Greg and Teena Semo will host this function the first Sunday of each month; Shirley Newport will host the second Sunday; Gary and Christine Patenaude will host the third Sunday, and John Chandonnet will host the fourth Sunday.
Coffee and Fellowship is a great way of meeting up with your fellow parishioners; and perhaps meeting new friends. So why not drop by after the 9:00 mass!
Remember that we’re always looking for volunteers to keep the Coffee and Fellowship hours vibrant. If interested in helping out one Sunday per month, please contact John at 324-0996.
