St. Thomas Council awards Knight of the Year for 2023 to Jeff Russell, who has been a knight in the St. Thomas Council for the past three years.

For the past three years Jeff and his wife Barbara have been coordinating all activity at the Saint Therese Food Closet. This is an effort that involves hundreds of hours of work per month. Jeff and his wife keep busy organizing and coordinating the volunteer staff. His task is to not only organize and distribute food at tjhe Food Closet; but to purchase and receive food from various sources, such as the Emergency Food Assistance Program. Other sources include donations of food. 

Jeff's organizational and financial management skills have ensured the continued success of the Parish Food Closet. The community, as well as St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, are grateful for all the hard work Jeff and Barbara Russell have put in!
