The Knights of Columbus St. Thomas Council has selected the Family of Dennis and Joan Breton as Family of the Month for the month of April 2020.
Dennis is a longtime knight and current Grand Knight of the St. Thomas Council. Dennis is also a 4th Degree Knight with the W. Robert Bachelder Assembly where he serves as Purser. Dennis is involved in the This Man is You Saturday morning sessions. Dennis has previously done his ACTS retreat. Although he is retired, both he and his wife Joan are very active in the Parish.
Dennis, Joan and their daughter Jeannine have help out at all dinners put on by the Council in the past and will continue helping out at all dinners. Dennis has helped out in many Knights of Columbus activities. Dennis and Joan serve as Eucharistic ministers at the 10:00 am Sunday service and deliver the Eucharist to the homebound. They are also scheduled Eucharistic Ministers for the various weekend masses. Dennis and Joan were involved in the Faith Formation program where they taught CCD and prepared Second Graders within the parish for their First Communion. Joan had taught CCD for many years, and recently retired from teaching. During that time, Dennis assisted Joan. Dennis and Joan volunteer at the Food Pantry and the Ray of Light program that assists veterans.
Dennis and Joan are proud parents of four children: Jeannine, Janet, Marie and Andy. Andy, who lives in Washington State, is also a Knight in a local council.
Kudos for our Family of the Month Dennis and Joan Breton for all the work they do for the Knights of Columbus and the St. Therese of Lisieux Parish!
